NOTA: Intrucat nu cunoastem limba araba, s-ar putea ca transcrierea versurilor sa contina greseli. Ne cerem scuze cititorilor care cunosc aceasta limba (daca stiti scrierea corecta, trimiteti-ne un mail).

Piesa care deschide albumul "JAZZ", simpatica si originala, "Mustapha", este cantata partial in limba araba si melodia are influente orientale. Sa vedem oare in aceasta amintiri din copilaria petrecuta pe taramuri exotice (Zanzibar, India) a lui Freddie? Cantecul incepe cu o invocatie, ce-i drept in engleza, dar in stilul cantarilor religioase islamice ("Ibrahim, Ibrahim, Ibrahim, Allah Allah Allah Allah will pray for you"). Si apoi urmeaza o adevarata explozie muzicala: melodia este dinamica, avand un ritm cuceritor si o orchestratie influentata de muzica orientala. Majoritatea versurilor sunt in limba araba (nu ne intrebati ce inseamna!) si efectul produs de ele este deosebit de nostim. Refrenul prilejuieste o exceptionala performanta vocala lui Freddie. Linia melodica este plina de optimism si voie buna, iar vocea lui Freddie rostind cuvintele arabe este irezistibila...
