Aparuta in 1997 pe compilatia Queen Rocks, emotionanta balada scrisa de Brian May se leaga de moartea printesei Diana, survenita in acelasi an. Dar mesajul piesei aminteste mai degraba de viata fara Freddie, decat de cea fara Lady Di. Versurile sunt structurate ca o adresare catre Freddie, plina de iubire ("an angel reaching for the sky") si durere ("and everywhere a brokenhearted"). Viata continua, in lipsa unui om drag ("and life goes on- without you"), dar amintirea lui este mereu prezenta ("we'll remember- forever"), ca o calauza prin necazurile de zi cu zi ("I find myself thinking: well- what would you do?"). Versurile contin si cateva mici aluzii la piese din repertoriul Queen ("another Tricky Situation"- It's a Hard Life; "forever paying every due"- We Are The Champions; "another party must be over"- My Melancholy Blues).

Inregistrarea piesei i-a adus laolalta pe Brian, Roger si John, in studio, pentru prima data dupa 1991. Linia melodica este lirica, cumva melancolica, iar interpretarea vocala a lui Brian- e adevarat, nu atat de spectaculoasa ca a lui Freddie- se potriveste notei de tristete a versurilor: nu poti uita un om cu care ai impartit bucurii si dureri, nu-ti poti lua adio de la amintirea lui: "I ain't never saying goodbye".
